v-CHARGE

GSE Battery Monitoring Module

Maintaining the health of your Electric GSE batteries - with equipment being used in all weathers, and the typical usage profile consisting of many start/stop cycles and short journeys - is a significant challenge. Ensuring they are being charged correctly for the right length of time every day is an even bigger issue. If batteries aren't charged regularly, their lifetime can be reduced by 50% or more, leading to significant replacement costs.

With our v-CHARGE battery monitoring module, you can see which batteries have been charged, when and for how long.

Without interfering with battery performance, v-CHARGE records exactly when the battery is connected to the charger, and when it is disconnected. Via our VTIS v-HUB telematics unit, the resulting data is then transmitted wirelessly to our servers, where it is formatted and made available to our customers.

Customisable Electric Vehicle Charging Monitor screen

Data can be viewed on-line via our v-VIEW or v-DASH reporting systems, or a daily summary can be sent to you via our v-MAIL service as an Excel spreadsheet. When coupled with our v-CELL battery voltage monitoring system, you can see the state of your electric GSE at a glance, using our customisable Electric Vehicle Charging Monitor screen.

v-CHARGE can be installed on most electric GSE, depending upon the exact equipment type and wiring configuration. It does not drain the vehicle battery, and requires no ongoing maintenance.

All vehicle data is hosted on our servers and is protected, secure and available 24/7.
