v-FENCE

GSE Geofencing Module

If you need to know when your GSE arrives on stand, or whether it has left the airport perimeter, v-FENCE can help. Essentially, v-FENCE creates an invisible field - or geofence - around specified areas of the airport, and can record every vehicle entry or exit event.

Several types of geofence can be set up, for example:
  • An "entry" geofence, which will record every occasion a vehicle enters a specific area - for example, a stand location, or a refueling point
  • An "exit" geofence, which will record every occasion a vehicle leaves a zone - for example, the airport perimeter
  • An "incursion" geofence, which can raise an instant alarm if equipment enters a prohibited zone such as a runway
  • An "equipment alert" geofence - be warned if equipment levels drop below pre-defined levels in a specific zone
v-FENCE

Set up geofences by using v-LOW system Geofences can be set up around areas where vehicle speed must be restricted (such as baggage halls) - in this case, if you opt for our v-SLOW system you can automatically limit GSE maximum speed. If a geofence is set up where there is low headroom, and you opt for our v-LOW system can alert the driver to the potential risk of equipment damage.

You can select any number of geofences, depending upon your requirements. Once the latitude/longitude coordinates are specified, each geofence is set up via software - no additional hardware is needed.

Geofence entry/exit reports can be viewed on-line via our v-VIEW or v-DASH reporting systems, or a daily summary can be sent to you via our v-MAIL service. Alternatively, you can receive instant alerts by SMS message or email.

All vehicle data is hosted on our servers and is protected, secure and available 24/7.
