v-MODE

GSE Idle/Active Status Module

You know that your equipment is being used - but is it being used efficiently?

With v-MODE, you can be alerted to any change in the operational status of your Ground Support Equipment on the ramp. For example, v-MODE can tell you:
  • when a GPU changes status from "idling" to powering an aircraft
  • when the hydraulic systems on a loader are operating
  • when a pushback is connected to an aircraft
The status of each GSE is based on individually-defined parameters for each equipment, so you always get the right information for your operation. With this data, task allocation is made simpler as you know which equipment is "idling" rather than being used productively. Further, by analysing the information from v-MODE you can identify excessive idle times and unnecessary engine running, reducing fuel bills and maintenance costs.
v-MODE

v-MODE added in v-HUB system v-MODE is an add-on module to our VTIS v-HUB system. Once you have installed v-HUB on your equipment, v-MODE can be added - this involves additional hardware and software, dependent upon the GSE involved. Data from v-MODE can be displayed on our v-TRACK map - giving you an instant view of GSE status and further improving the efficiency of task allocation.

If you don't need real-time notification of idle and operational status, all data can be stored and sent to you regularly in the form of an Excel spreadsheet (via our v-MAIL service) or alternatively can be viewed on-line with our v-DASH or v-VIEW reporting systems.

All vehicle data is hosted on our servers and is protected, secure and available 24/7.
